Working Through January
This January, my son has been stitching his way through Mouse’s Snow Day by Tiny Modernist , and it has been such a delight to watch him work. He’s taking on each little motif with care, focus, and so much excitement, celebrating every finish like a tiny victory. The Love of Cross-stitch
Our 7-year-old son is starting to show interest in cross-stitch by watching me work on it. We made an agreement that he would start on a small Tiny Modernist pattern that was easy to understand. He was highly excited and chose Mouse's Snow Day because it is winter and seems appropriate for this time of year. At 7, the biggest goal isn’t perfection — it’s building confidence.
