Joyful Journal October by Heart in Hand Needleart is a playful autumn cross stitch design featuring a large orange pumpkin topped by a blackbird, with a wagon, tractor, pumpkins, and other harvest details framing the design. The stitched word “October” anchors the piece and gives it the whimsical journal-style look of the series.

The model was stitched on 30-count Confederate Gray linen from Weeks Dye Works. The design measures 52 stitches wide by 49 stitches high, with a finished size of 3" x 3". The design uses Classic Colorworks, Gentle Art, and Weeks Dye Works threads, with Anchor and DMC conversions provided on the chart. An optional DMC floss pack is available using the designer’s conversion.
