Joyful Journal September by Heart in Hand Needleart is a whimsical back-to-school cross stitch design featuring a scholarly owl wearing a graduation cap, framed by school-inspired details and the stitched word “September.” The playful alphabet accents and warm autumn palette give the design the charming journal-style look of the series.

The model was stitched on 30-count Confederate Gray linen from Weeks Dye Works. The design measures 48 stitches wide by 50 stitches high, with a finished size of 3" x 3". The design uses Classic Colorworks, Gentle Art, and Weeks Dye Works threads, with Anchor and DMC conversions provided on the chart. An optional DMC floss pack is available using the designer’s conversion.
